Unsung Sweets

This is sort of a #laterblog if there's ever one. Let's just hope there is.. Hehe.

So I read this quote somewhere:

 I think cookies are sort of the unsung sweet, you know? They're incredibly popular. But everybody thinks of cakes and pies and fancier desserts before they think cookies. A plate of cookies is a great way to end dinner and really nice to share at the holidays. 

I love the phrase "unsung sweet". Somehow, I sympathize with chocolate chip cookies (I know, it does sounds ridiculous).

I think every one of us have been overlooked and underestimated at some points of our lives.. We just have to be know who we are and keep being faithful on what we are doing.

Kinda like this little cookies... Nothing fancy, but as soon as you take a bite:

I feel in love with baking. Period.

I never knew I could since I'm not really a girl- I mean not a girly girl.

What got me hooked?

Julie and Julia. Yep. That movie. I fell in love with food, and then with baking. I was bored and googled some easy recipes and tried baking some out-of-cake-box stuff, with a twist.

And they loved it....
