Pause. Selah. Ponder

Hello lovely people,

I am currently on my journey of perfecting my St. Patrick Cookies (it supposed to be a chocolatey cookie with a splash of Bailey's Irish Cream).

It's coming together beautifully. I'll keep you updated :)

But against all odds... I'm taking a HOLIDAY!

Yes. This weekend I shall be laying on a white sandy beach near Krakatau... and I surely cannot wait...

One of the "teaser" pic that the tour company gave me. Not too shabby :)

I do love baking.. and doing what you love and being paid for it is seriously one of best things on earth, right?

But I have been thinking lately how sometimes you started doing what you love but then it turns back on you and you start hating it because you get pressured on doing it?

I sincerely hope that you will NEVER be in that position...I've seen people started well with their passion but then being burned out to ashes by the pressure, greed, and everything else that contaminated the "original" passions.. and it broke my heart.

We need to keep on remembering our "firsts" .. I still remember my feeling when I baked cookies for the first time and they came put perfectly (I distinctly remember calling them 'my babies' hahahaha)

Keep things as simple as possible. Don't get your passion blurred with other unimportant things that makes your feet wander off to the wrong journey.

That's why, once a while, remember to take some time to breath. to rest. to ponder.

to remember what it's all about in the first place.

Cheers!

PS: With that in mind... I'm not taking anymore orders this week and will start again on the 21st. Sorry :)
